March with 50501 this Labor Day!

This Labor Day, Monday, September 1st, we’re showing up across Pittsburgh to honor workers, organize together, and raise our voices for justice. Join 50501 PGH and our friends at the Pittsburgh Overpass Project for a day of action and solidarity.

Labor Day Parade – 10 AM

Meet us at the intersection of Grant Street & Boulevard of the Allies in downtown Pittsburgh. We’ll be marching in the Labor Day Parade with our banners, signs, and energy—standing alongside unions, workers, and community groups. Bring your spirit, your voice, and let’s take the streets together.

Morning Overpass Actions – 8 AM to 10 AM

Before the parade, 50501 PGH and the Pittsburgh Overpass Project will be holding visibility actions across the city. Join us at any of these key overpass locations to kick off the day:

Tripoli Street Overpass (over I-279)

Brinton Bridge (over I-376)

Greentree Overpass (over I-376)

Charles Lieberth Pedestrian Walkway

Bring signs, flags, and your solidarity—it’s a chance to be seen and heard by thousands of drivers heading into the city for the parade.
